C's pan-fried bluegill

C started working on his fishing merit badge in colorado. he had a great time learning to fly fish, but the problem is, he didn't catch anything. so last week we went to a local park with a beautiful pond (sorry no pictures, i forgot the camera!) and he pulled in some bluegill. to earn his badge he had to catch, clean, cook and eat his fish, so although they were small, C brought them home. under the watchful eye of his dad, C cleaned the fish with only 1 minor cut to his finger (no stitches were necessary). he cooked up the fish devising the following recipe on his own. i was allowed to sample the fish and it was really delicious.

C's pan-fried blue gill

fish, cleaned
butter
onions, sliced
salt and pepper
parmesan cheese, freshly grated

first, melt the butter in a frying pan. put the fish and the onions in the pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper. stir and turn the fish until done. grate parmesan cheese over the top of the fish. eat.
