them dry bones...

we are enjoying our science study of mammals and other land creatures this year. in the current lesson we learned about the jaw bones of mammals which allow them to chew their food and about their backbones. i just knew that the old box of bones in the closet would come in handy. (doesn't everyone have a box of bones that were collected on nature hikes in the woods?)
